David Phillips, CEO
David Phillips is a seasoned Internet executive having served for the last twelve years in senior executive positions with AOL Inc., AOL Europe (JV with Bertelsman), Napster, and IGN Entertainment (Fox Interactive Media).
Most recently from June 2004 until May 2006, David served as
Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy (and General Counsel)
for IGN Entertainment Inc., a leading online digital entertainment
network. As head of Corporate Strategy at IGN, Phillips helped manage the Company's highly successful Internet media roll-up and sale to News Corp/Fox in late 05.
Philips
founded NaturalPath Media (naturalpath.com and naturalpathmedia.com) in 06 and has recruited a talented team of passionate
professionals. Naturalpath.com is borne out of Phillips’ passion for
finding trusted expert and community-filtered information about holistic and environmental health for his family.
Phillips lives in Marin County with his wife (Mary, who is a contributor to naturalpath.com) and their three young children.

Jim Van Huysse, EVP of Marketing and Operations
Jim is a pioneer in the Internet media space, having built Spinner.com, the first online radio service in 1996 (acquired by AOL), and provides over 12 years of executive leadership experience including both Fortune 50 and start-up environments, blending entrepreneurial drive and big company operational capabilities.
At AOL he served as General Manager of the AOL Radio Network, managing operations, product and programming for the Internet's largest Radio network, launching seven distinct services and amassing a monthly audience of over 10 million unique visitors.
Jim also served as president at Brondell, Inc., where he oversaw sales, marketing an corporate development for this high-tech home products company. He also helped with strategic initiatives at Oracle Corporation.
Jim's interest in sustainability and wellness started with an ailing back: one that prompted him to try alternative therapies -- namely Chinese herbs and acupuncture -- rather than pop a pill. Since then Jim has dabbled in Reiki, purchased a hybrid, and is grateful for the chance to do his small part to help move the sustainability movement forward a little bit.
When he's not recruiting publishers or marketing NaturalPath, Jim might be found on a hiking trail, a golf course or traveling.

Richard Rocca, SVP of Sales and Business Development
Richard Rocca is the internet's number one fan when it comes to network development and brand packaging. His leadership, creativity and overall passion for brand advertising were showcased and learned the past 5 years serving as VP, Business Development for Gorilla Nation Media and most recently Sr. Director Glam Media.
At Gorilla Nation Media, the worlds largest representation firm, Richard worked closely with pioneers Brian Fitzgerald and Aaron Broder on bringing value to the mid-tail for brand advertisers by packaging quality content with reach in highly targeted passion groups and delivering programs that go beyond-the-banner of network buys. While at Gorilla Nation, Rocca too helped identify an investment and consulting strategy further illustrating the value of the mid-tail.
While at Glam Media, Rocca championed his expertise of the mid-tail and brand engagement with the technology of Silicon Valley and helped built the worlds largest media distribution company.
When Richard is not developing media companies he can be found traveling with his fiancee.

Wendy McKay, Sales Director
Wendy McKay comes to us with over ten years of online advertising experience. As the first sales person at Allrecipes.com Wendy helped develop and implement customized sponsorships for CPG companies such as Kraft, McCormick, M&M Mars, Hershey’s and Land O Lakes among many. Wendy’s understanding of brand engagement helps her take advertisers to the competitive and creative level they must be in this space.
Most recently Wendy was a part of the Microsoft Advertising team. Wendy worked very closely with top online publishers to help them understand how to recognize, package and optimize advertising inventory.
When Wendy is not getting creative for clients and trying to grow advertising revenue, you can find her with her husband and two daughters or training or her next marathon.

Beth Aubry, Director of Client Services
Beth Aubry's extensive experience in online media, web marketing and design, coupled with her concern for a more sustainable world brought her to NaturalPath Media (and Naturalpath.com, where she still spends a portion of her time as Producer).
In addition to holding positions in the web arena at Fox.com, The Walt Disney Company and Stanford University, she also greatly enhanced her management skills and entrepreneurial ambition at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she managed an intensive course in Entrepreneurship. She holds a BA in Communication with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Southern California.
When Beth is not tirelessly trying to improve the world's online marketing or sustainability problems, she can be found carving down the mountain on her snowboard or running on the streets of hilly San Francisco.

Erin DeRuggiero, Sales Director
Erin joins the NaturalPath Media team with more than a decade of advertising sales, marketing and media partnerships experience. She
spent nine years with the Utne Reader magazine, as their National
Advertising Director, overseeing print and online sales and developing
new media and content for the web. Armed with a passion
for music and environmental action, Erin has also worked with clients
such as Crocs and Clif Bar, along with musicians Xavier Rudd, John
Butler Trio and Jack Johnson, to secure sponsorships for national green
music tours and events. When she’s able to put the
Blackberry down, Erin is a self-confessed media junkie with a soft spot
for bad reality TV, Annie’s Mac and Cheese and any award show that
features a red carpet countdown.

Shannon Donahue, Client Services & Marketing Manager
Shannon joins the NaturalPath Media team with experience in management consulting, and a professional and personal interest in sustainability. A recent graduate of Stanford University, Shannon studied corporate social responsibility, ecotourism, and ecology as part of her Anthropological Sciences major. At NaturalPath Media, she works with network publishers and supports the NaturalPath Media team in marketing and business development initiatives.
While Shannon is fascinated by the breadth and depth of information across NaturalPath Media's publisher network, she is especially passionate about sustainable agriculture and food systems. When she's not working, Shannon can often be found at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco, where she spends time volunteering and fawning over fruits, vegetables, and local farms.

Nick D'Amato, Engineer/Magician
Nick has been developing computer software for most of his life. Some of his software is currently being used in schools throughout Australia to help teach speech and language skills. In the age of the Web, Nick has learned to appreciate the importance of the Internet and how extremely useful it has become for communication and education. He has a passion for developing tools to help users maximize the web’s potential.
