NaturalPath Media Hires Internet Veterans Jim Van Huysse and Richard Rocca
Digital Executives from AOL and Glam Media Join Leading Green and Healthy Living Media Network
SAN FRANCISCO – June 30th, 2008 – NaturalPath Media, the leading green and healthy living media network, announced today that Jim Van Huysse and Richard Rocca will join the company as EVP of Operations and Marketing and SVP of Sales and Business Development respectively. Van Huysse will lead the vertical ad network’s operations and marketing initiatives, including publisher recruitment and relations. In his newly created role, Rocca will oversee NaturalPath Media’s national sales organization as well as strategic partnerships. Both executives will report directly to CEO David Phillips.

Van Huysse spent more than 12 years with pioneering Internet companies, having joined Internet radio service Spinner.com as its first employee in 1996 and eventually becoming GM of the AOL Radio Network. At AOL, Van Huysse oversaw the creation of seven distinct radio properties, growing the service to over 11 million monthly unique visitors. Van Huysse most recently served as a strategic consultant for a number of media companies, from online video to media syncing services.
Prior to joining NaturalPath Media, Rocca was an executive at Glam Media, where he spearheaded such key strategic initiatives as the build-out of Glam’s Inside Sales and International teams and the development of the Glam Living vertical. Prior to Glam, Rocca served as Vice President of Business Development for Gorilla Nation Media, where he managed the recruitment of over 130 publishers and developed strategic sales and partnership packages for delivering integrative campaigns for brand engagement within Gorilla Nation’s distinctive micro vertical networks.
