Six Apart Buys Green Online Ad Net NaturalPath Media
Six Apart, the blogging software and media company, has acquired NaturalPath Media, an online ad network for “sustainable, healthy, and conscious lifestyles”, in other words, around green and healthy lifestyle. Financial terms were not disclosed.
NaturalPath was founded in 2006, and says has about 200 publishers in its network, including DrGreene.com, GreenLivingIdeas.com, ScientificAmerican.com and EcoSalon.com. With this acquisition, SA will have the “ability to help marketers reach women 25+ in highly engaged, influential media environments and provides more opportunities for NaturalPath

comScore: Cash for Clunkers Spikes Green Web Traffic
A recent report from digital measurement firm comScore shows that the U.S. government’s Cash for Clunkers program - caused cleantech web traffic to jump 15 percent in the month of July. All told, 17.5 million people visited web sites related to Cash for Clunkers - including...NaturalPath Media (the advertising network for green lifestyle publishers and marketers, with 2.1 million visitors).

Top 50 US Websites for July: Green, Teen, & Facebook
July gains at environmentally friendly "green" websites and automaker sites were the result of consumer interest in the "Cash for Clunkers" program, according to a monthly analysis of US web activity from comScore Media Metrix service. Americans sought information about green initiatives related to automotive transportation with the launch of the federal CARS program, with visitation to "green"-related websites growing 15% in July, to 17.5 million visitors. NaturalPath Media led the category with 2.1 million visitors, followed by Yahoo Green with 1.9 million and ECOMII with 1 million, comScore said.
